"A premier wellness boutique featuring floatation therapy and Halotherapy, both of which are centered around the therapeutic properties of salt, in its various forms. The float spa creates an environment where you can achieve pure sensory relaxation. The weightlessness combined with the benefits of Epsom salts also creates an ideal environment for injury recovery as well as providing relief from muscular pain & tension. As you relax in our salt room, a special device called a halogenerator will disperse dry microscopic salt particles into the room. This cleanses both the airways and the skin to relieve congestion, inflammation, and skin irritations." [read more]

When Luke Christian left his rural South Georgia home for college, he never dreamed that one day he would come home to open a restaurant. Bringing together big taste and bold flavors with the Southern hospitality of his youth, Luke opened his first restaurant in Douglas, GA in 2007, serving freshly prepared Tex-Mex favorites. Surcheros quickly became a community favorite, a place where they remembered your order and your name. It wasn't long before others heard about this concept and wanted to open a Surcheros in their town, too. That's when founder Luke Christian, and his wife, Nicole, began to dream bigger. With a shared vision of expansion and a love of community, Surcheros began franchising in 2017. The re-branded Surcheros Fresh Mex completed remodels of its existing locations and supported new franchisees across South Georgia and into Florida as they introduced their own communities to Surcheros. As an emerging brand poised for expansion and growth into the Atlanta Metro and the Southeast, Surcheros moved its corporate headquarters to Alpharetta, GA. A new flagship restaurant followed, with the downtown Alpharetta location opening on South Main Street in May of 2022. Luke, Nicole, and the entire Surcheros organization are excited to continue their success with 24 Southeast locations and more coming to communities in Florida, North Georgia, and South Carolina. No matter where you are, Friendly Tex-Mex, Fresh Every Day is what you will find at Surcheros. [read more]

A little information about us: In 1998, some brave and enthusiastic families in the North Fulton Metro Atlanta area joined with a mission in mind; a mission to fill a void in this northern suburb community for a conservative synagogue, actually at the time, for any kind of synagogue. After several community meetings to confirm interest and to organize, the North Fulton Jewish Center Congregation Gesher L'Torah was born. Congregation Gesher L’Torah, meaning Bridge to Torah, was the perfect name. Not only were the roads in our area including the word bridge but also because we wanted to build a link with our Jewish religion, culture, and community. More affectionately, you will often hear us called GLT. In 2008, we were going strong with over 100 families and started the project for the building we are currently in and call our home. In 2009 our building was complete and we were opening our doors to families in the area. Our preschool program is like no other around, we offer a half-day program filled with loving, passionate, qualified teachers to encourage your child's growth and love for learning. Rebecca Gordon, our Education Director, has a top-notch Religious Program. It is designed to have a unique hands-on curriculum that creates learning and a love for Judaism within the individual child. Our Judaics curriculum is divided into grade levels to meet the needs of each child. Each grade level has material that focuses on Jewish Values, Relationship with God, Torah, and Israel. Our Hebrew curriculum is divided by level and grade, allowing students to learn Hebrew and Prayer at their own pace. We offer family programming, Women’s Learning, Sisterhood events, Men’s Club, holiday programming, religious services, yoga, events for middle and high school students, and let’s not forget the toddlers! We will be starting a toddler playgroup in the fall as well. [read more]

We spent 30+ years in the fast-paced world of D1 college football life. John was the defensive coordinator at great programs including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Memphis, and East Carolina. While John was coaching at the University of Arkansas, we became very close friends with our next door neighbors, John and Karen Cole, who own Walker Brothers, which is to this day a thriving men's apparel store in Arkansas. We loved seeing how they combined great merchandise with building a community of friends. Charleen also discovered her eye and passion for quality merchandising. After living across the Southeast, John hung up his collegiate football whistle and we started our next dream by opening Clothes Horse Men's Apparel in downtown Alpharetta. We're built off of the things that are most important to us: quality merchandise, excellent service, community, inclusivity, and family. Our goal is to bring the highest quality, highest value goods to Alpharetta and the marketplace. Building long term relationships with our customers who turn into friends is one of our greatest privileges. [read more]
