Steven was originally drawn to the financial field while earning his bachelor’s degree at Auburn University. He began his career at E*TRADE, where he worked his way up to running his own book of business. Wanting to further expand his career, Steven joined UBS Financial Services as a wealth planning associate for the entire Atlanta market, including Buckhead, Dunwoody, Alpharetta and Greenville, South Carolina. During this time, he was responsible for helping financial advisors implement financial planning into their practices, as well as for building and delivering financial plans directly to clients. While at UBS, Steven acquired his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ and Certified Financial Planner™ professional certifications, distinguishing him as a dedicated and knowledgeable financial professional. Steven also holds his Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
Since joining Raymond James in 2019, Steven has focused on being a multigenerational advisor. “It’s exciting to establish relationships with clients knowing I plan to be in the industry for another 30-plus years,” he says. “I hope to be able to work with my current clients’ children and even grandchildren.” Steven feels that Raymond James is the ideal firm to help accomplish these long-term goals, since it enables him to draw upon a robust set of resources while still promoting personalized, boutique-style client service.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Steven resides in Alpharetta. He is an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast who is passionate about whitewater kayaking, rock climbing and competing in triathlons.
